Fits me to a ‘tea’

So. I’ve loved black tea for a while (hand me some Twinings Irish Breakfast and I will love you forever),but never had the courage to try chai. Don’t ask why, I just never felt compelled to try it. Until last night when I was dead tired and had a lot do. In my friends ‘tea package’ she had included Twinings French Vanilla Chai. And oh dear sweet Lord. It was love at first sip. Sweet (I don’t add and sugar) and spicy and good. I had to force myself to take a different one this morning.

So I tried another tea this morning. Twinings Prince of Wales tea. An other black team and I swear its just like coffee. It looked like coffee ( I added milk) it tasted like a very diluted coffee and I got all the energy I usually get from coffee.

Fitness-wise, I’m feeling great but a bit disappointed. I weighed myself last night and did not see the number I wanted, nor expected. I know that muscle weighs more than fat, but did I really put on 20 lbs of muscle? Looking in the mirror I don’t look any fatter than I did last time I weighed in. I look skinnyer if anything…

Twinings, M&Ms, Universities and Snow

I am writing this right after eating too many Fritos and M&Ms. But though I feel guilty, I do not regret it. I am PMSing, babysitting and researching universities in the UK ($_$). I allotted myself a cheat. I’m going on a detox diet, starting tomorrow, will let you all know how it goes.

Anywho- tea update. My friend handed me a zip lock full of teas so, I’ll be trying teas everyday…when you think about it its a ziplock full of weeds….bad joke. So tonight its Twinings Honeybush, Mandarine & Orange. Its good. Not sweet, but great. Its snowy out now, and this ‘tisane’ is warm (duh) and comforting. Great cold, cough and flu fighter too!

Lazy bones…well its the muscle that counts

I am a lazy person. I take the easy way out, I rush things to sit and watch TV. But I’m graduating high school in June and turning 17. I refuse to be anything other than who I want to be now. I do have more than a few problems, an eating disorder happens to be one, but hopefully with the interweb’s support (that means you people) and all the other “thinsperation” blogs out there, by next year, I’ll be closer to who I want to be.

Be forewarned, geekery and rants will most likely be posted at irregular intervals.
